NON-STOCK SPECIALIST AND STOCKROOM SPECIALIST

Purchasing materials through SAP, expediting orders when needed, and maintaining regular communication with suppliers (daily).
Assist with supplier agreements, optimize costs by sourcing materials efficiently, collaborate with internal departments, assist with finance invoices, Maintenance, etc.

Standard Duties.
40% Purchasing materials through SAP Expedite when needed Follow up communications with suppliers daily Provide good customer service internally   20 % Assist with basic supplier agreements/negotiations   25% Sourcing materials to meet cost objectives, etc.
15% Assist internal departments with issues when needed   Performs other duties as assigned by Purchasing Supervisor and Stockroom Supervisor Finance invoices, maintenance, etc.
Purchases material/services in line with existing strategies (non-stock) Assist with negotiations of basic supplier negotiations and agreements Coordinates supplier relationship and internal functions (i.
., Troubleshooting) Achieve cost and performance objectives in line with existing strategies Responsible for following up and communicating with suppliers daily Sourcing materials Achieve cost and performance objectives Helper/learner-assist when needed with internal departments (Accounts Payable, Maintenance)   Knowledge/Skills.

Travel is occasionally required, up to 5% of the time Safety, Health, and Physical Requirements.
Extended periods standing.
Intermediate level of pushing or pulling of manual pallet jacks or hand carts containing full baskets of parts.
While performing this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and chemicals.
Lifting shoulder high up to 40 lbs.
periodically during a shift.
Punctual attendance at work required.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with moderate to high noise volume.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area in compliance with 5S.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
May require occasional work from heights.

2 years' experience in a related role in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience in working with external suppliers on processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and experience.
Attention to detail required.
Strong administrative skills.
Proven experience in procurement, preferably using SAP or similar systems.
Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with cost analysis and supplier performance metrics.
Computer Skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, & Teams) SAP experience preferred.
