About the Role Welcome to the dynamic role of Product Specialist, where your focus on backend development is central to the success of our latest research assistant product offering.
As a junior member of the product team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the intricate relationship between our business objectives and the technical intricacies of our backend infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to the refinement and enhancement of our backend systems and client facing API.
In this role, you will dive into the problem space of backend development, gaining exposure to the complexities that underpin the delivery of our innovative research assistant product.
Your responsibilities include gathering and defining product requirements with an emphasis on backend capabilities, contributing to the prioritization of features, and collaborating with development teams to bring these features to life.
As a Product Specialist, you will be the link between user needs and technical implementation, actively participating in the entire product lifecycle.
Your role is integral to our success, as the decisions and contributions you make will directly impact the functionality and performance of our product.
Working in tandem with more experienced team members, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow, gaining hands-on experience in translating user feedback into actionable improvements.

You will report directly to a Senior Product Manager and will interact with various departments on a daily basis including operations, engineering, QA, design teams, and internal stakeholders.
What you Need to Succeed Basic understanding of backend development concepts and technologies.
Analytical skills for data and user feedback analysis.
Proficient in Python with a solid understanding of JSON, encompassing data manipulation, parsing, schema, and API integration.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Organizational skills for product backlog management.
Proactive problem-solving approach.
User-centric mindset translating needs into requirements.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Detail-oriented in documentation and product management.
The ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbally is a must.
Knowledge of Spanish is not a business requirement.
Your Responsibilities Providing support to the Product Management team by creating tasks, mockups, and reports for analysis Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies as the product owner Assisting in cross-functional scheduling and communication with development, design, operations, business development Ensuring that all workflows, processes, changes, data manipulations, etc.
