AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Are you passionate about aircraft maintenance and looking for a dynamic role in the aviation industry? Join an established and reputable company as Maintenance Manager, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of their fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Oversight: Provide direct oversight and control over maintenance at your location.Vendor Coordination: Interface with local airport authorities and manage leases and contracts.Support Coordination: Arrange airport passes and visas for third-party support in collaboration with the Director of Maintenance.Training and Compliance: Ensure vendors are trained and comply with GMM policies and procedures.Resource Management: Coordinate resources to troubleshoot and correct mechanical discrepancies promptly.Maintenance Scheduling: Input and control maintenance workload to address chronic and scheduled discrepancies.Timely Repairs: Ensure deferred maintenance items are repaired quickly and log pages are returned accurately.Parts Management: Maintain surveillance of aircraft parts allocation and storage.Tooling Requirements: Monitor and manage tooling needs.Work Scheduling: Coordinate with Maintenance Control to minimize disruptions to the aircraft schedule.Support Administration: Manage support requirements with Materials, Planning, Quality Control, and contract agencies.Budget Management: Monitor budgets, approve invoices, and develop station maintenance budgets.Multi-Location Management: Potentially manage additional locations remotely.Additional Duties: Perform tasks as assigned by the Regional Director.Values: Communication: Ensure effective communication and application of company values and behavioral standards as outlined in our “Code of Conduct”.Teamwork: Collaborate with Ground Operations and Flight Operations for safe and dependable operations.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience and 3 years managerial experience.Licensing: Must hold a current Full Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant License.Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, and strong skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.Language: English and Spanish Special RequirementsVisa and Travel: Ability to gain entry and work visas to countries where the company operates.Regulations: Work under European Regulations.Travel: Willingness to travel to support operations.Safety and Security: Coordinate with local civil aviation authorities and pass local security checks.Driving License: Hold a full driving license and obtain necessary airport security passes.Flexibility: Work flexible schedules to suit operational needs.Apply toSarah-Jane GaffneyPeak Performance Recruitment Ltd.Specialist to the Aircraft Leasing & Finance IndustryEmail: SarahJane@aircraftleasing.ieTel: +353 42 941 9659Mob: +353 87 692 3910www.aircraftleasing.ie
