APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER

Working with a team to ensure software release and support across various environments is accomplished smoothly. This is a hands-on operational 24/7 role performing Tier 2 application support.What you will be doing: Work closely with operation engineers, QA and software development teams performing code releases across various environments.Troubleshoot configuration and deployment issues during scheduled release cycles.Liaise with on-site and remote teams in support of software deployments & support of customer & internal applications.Working with team responsible for all production/non-production software platforms and ensuring a high availability operational status.Part of 24/7 Support for all production applications based on an on-call rotation with occasional deployment on off-hours.Provide input on production site uptime & stability.Manage the day-to-day operation of system monitoring operational toolsActively participate in quarterly weekend releasesRequirements:2+ years of experience inHands on software release roleLinux, Windows-based application programsPowerShell or Linux shell languagesOpen-source release softwarePreferred experience inRecipes and cookbooks using CHEFAWS or equivalent cloud servicesPingdom, Jira, Splunk PRTG, AWSCoordinating releasesDegree in Computer Science or related technical field of added work experienceCCC is committed to a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and vibrant ecosystem that cultivates opportunity for our team and attracts talented people.
