This position involves overseeing key stages of project development, including preparing RFQ packages, evaluating bids, negotiating terms, and managing supplier and subcontractor relationships.ResponsibilitiesPrepare RFQ packages and issue them to suppliers and subcontractors for various project works and services.Provide clarifications to bidders during the bidding process.Compare received quotations against the required scope of work and conduct cost analyses.Prepare counterproposals to align with budget constraints and finalize agreements.Draft and negotiate contracts for goods and services in collaboration with Legal and Procurement teams.Prepare addendums and manage the internal approval process for contracts.Oversee the preparation of bank guarantees from suppliers and subcontractors with Treasury team support.Contribute to the Subcontracting Plan alongside the EPC team.Support the Construction team in contract administration, claims management, and the preparation of Monthly Work Certificates.Provide feedback on lessons learned for continuous improvement.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or similar).Fluency in Spanish and English (both spoken and written) is essential.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy or oil and gas industries, with relevant experience in an EPC contractor, preferably in solar projects.Strong people skills and adaptability, with experience in engaging with third parties.High level of autonomy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Excellent communication and proactive skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing project stakeholders.Experience in leading high-level negotiations and resolving disputes.Understanding of contract law and project risk management, with exposure to construction and site operation and maintenance issues.Location: Madrid, Spain
