CREDIT RISK MANAGER

Our client, a prominent player in the financial sector, is currently seeking a Head of Credit Risk to join their team. This permanent role involves overseeing and managing credit risk strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Define, update, monitor and control risk management policies to ensure proper implementation.Develop and maintain acceptance strategies, adapting them to new products and partnerships.Manage personal loan and credit card portfolios, including segmentation, diversification, and concentration analysis.Produce and critically analyse monthly reports to facilitate risk management decisions.Monitor key risk performance indicators, identifying alert points and developing action plans to manage and control risk.Ensure the proper management of credit limits and risk strategies in commercial campaigns and exposure control.Develop, maintain, implement, and supervise internal rating tools, such as scoring models and risk segmentation.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, especially regarding internal governance and reporting.Support the construction of a new DataWarehouse in collaboration with related departments and the Group.Job Requirements:Solid experience in risk analysis, risk management, and credit risks.Strong knowledge of risk models and tools, including SAS and Python.Familiarity with emerging technologies in risk analysis, such as AI, machine learning, and big data would be nice to have.Proficient in data analysis and database management.Strategic vision and stress management skills.Experience in credit risk management, particularly with credit cards and personal loans.Fluent in English and Spanish.Benefits:Permanent contract directly with end clientCompetitive compensation package (70k + flex, negotiable)Hybrid working policy (3 days at home / 2 days in the office, flexible)Flexible working hoursMeal allowanceHalf days on Fridays and all SummerOpportunity to lead a specialised team within a key area of the companyGreat professional development on an international scaleTraining opportunitiesEthical and supportive work environmentIf you are a skilled professional with significant experience in credit risk management, we would love to hear from you.
