Role SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Azure SQL and SQL Server. The right candidate will excel in optimizing, monitoring, and managing database systems, leveraging tools like Spotlight and Redgate SQL Monitor.Key Responsibilities:Administer Azure SQL and SQL Server databases.Ensure database performance, availability, scalability, and security.Perform in-depth tuning and optimization of database systems.Oversee backup, recovery, and database maintenance tasks.Use tools such as Spotlight and Redgate SQL Monitor for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.Collaborate with development teams to support database architecture and best practices.Create and maintain detailed documentation of database infrastructure and processes.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Advanced proficiency in English.Demonstrated experience in Azure SQL and SQL Server administration.Expertise in database performance optimization and troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with Spotlight and Redgate SQL Monitor tools.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with an acute attention to detail.Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.What We Provide:Competitive salary: €45,000 - €55,000.Location: Central Madrid, Spain.Full-time, on-site role.A comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work within a prestigious European financial services organization.A modern, well-equipped office in the heart of Madrid.A dynamic and inclusive work culture.Flexibility to accommodate individual needs.
