DIGITAL PR MANAGER

We are seeking a PR Manager with excellent communication and organizational skills to create and execute PR campaigns with the goal of delivering organic media mentions on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate must be a proactive and independent thinker who can take ownership of the tasks at hand and ensure timely & quality output through collaboration with other team members. Digital Silk offers competitive salaries, yearly growth opportunities AND company shares for all team members. This is for a full-time, remote-work-at-home position as our headquarters are in the US. We are seeking team members that can work up until 4p.m. EST. You will be interviewing people in the US. Digital Silk is seeking to make IMMEDIATE hires. What we offer at Digital Silk: A work culture focused on mutual success and continuous growth Competitive pay and scheduled yearly raises Shares in the company – share in profit upon company sale Challenging projects and opportunity to work with great team members Job stability in case of illness, Covid changes, and personal problems Work-from-home opportunity 4 weeks paid time off Responsibilities: Develop and execute weekly digital PR campaigns that drive brand awareness and traffic to website Secure organic, high-quality US based media mentions to the Digital Silk website from reputable web sources, using the content from journalists and marketing team Build relationships with relevant US based journalists and other media employees Identify websites, groups, associations that we can create relationships with and share our news, interviews, etc. GOALS: Prepare and send our weekly press releases. Secure a minimum of 20 unique high-quality US-based media mentions each month (after a warm up period) Build relationships with 100 reputable US journalists within the first 3 months Requirements: Excellent English grammar and communication skills Able to work between 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST Be a native or near-native English speaker/writer 5+ years of experience in media/agency work delivering creative PR campaigns Proven experience in using media monitoring tools to pitch stories to a segmented list of journalists A good understanding of digital PR tools (skilled with Ahrefs, Haro, Business Wire & Muck Rack, etc.) Recruitment steps: Apply via LinkedIn Have an intro call with our Recruiter Receive short test Send back answers + CV Have an interview with our General Manager/Marketing Director and CEO Get feedback
