ECONOMIC ANALYST (CORPORATE ECONOMIC ADMINISTRATION)

JOB OVERVIEWUnder direct supervision of the Head of Corporate Economic Administration (Cellnex Telecom, Cellnex Finance, and Cellnex Foundation), you will be responsible for the economic administration of the corporate entities, as well as the support in different processes of the area.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESMonthly end closings, Rolling Forecast, Forecast and Budget of Cellnex Telecom, Cellnex Finance and Cellnex Foundation, under Local GAAP and IFRS (mainly, IFRS16 and IFRS9):Preparation of the monthly end closing and the financial statements in PGC and IFRS for reporting to ConsolidationEstimation of the Financial P&L and amortisations, PBCS upload, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet (fixed assets, investments in Group Companies, equity and treasury shares, borrowings, prepaid expenses and advances to suppliers, intercompanies, provisions) and Working Capital.Preparation of the Monthly Executive Summary.Provisions management (including old provisions control and monitoring of litigation procedures).Review tangible and intangible fixed assets movement (additions, disposals and transfers) of the corporate entities.Manage intercompany accounts:Calculation, provision and invoicing.Reconciliation of balances and transactions (commercial and financial transactions and balances of P&L and Balance Sheet) of Cellnex Telecom and Cellnex Finance companies with the rest of the group: analysis of intercompanies and contract-based assurance of the correct recording of intercompanies with countries.Analysis of the accounting treatment of certain operations: Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP), borrowings issuance and repayment and the related arrangement expenses, debt refinancing, derivative financial instruments, FX Differences, treasury shares, grants, etc.Analysis and monitoring of the Group companies’ reserves as well as the accounting treatment of the dividends received from them. Control and monitoring of the dividends paid to shareholders.Preparation of the Cash Flow and Working Capital Forecasts for Cellnex Telecom and Cellnex FinanceReview of the monthly payments proposal for Cellnex Telecom and Cellnex FinanceSupport in the preparation of the Tax Consolidated Financial Statements for Spain subgroupPreparation of various reports (monthly FCCS, half-yearly Forms, CNMC, Bank of Spain, INE, Commercial Register, IPP, Related Operations, Tax Checklist, etc).Preparation of the Annual Accounts of Cellnex Telecom, Cellnex Finance and Cellnex Foundation (Spanish and English) and the Interim Financial Statements of Cellnex Telecom.Cellnex Foundation: monitoring and accounting of the activities’ expenses in relation to the Action PlanSupport internal and external financial audits of Cellnex Telecom, Cellnex Finance and Cellnex Foundation.Chart of Accounts MaintenanceSupport to the different corporate areas in order to know the payment status of invoices, request maturities, extract invoices, queries in SAP, etc.Generation of innovative solutions for internal stakeholdersCANDIDATE PROFILEEducationBachelor of Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Telecommunications Degree with financial background.Relevant Experience:Previous Experience in Big Four (minimum 3-4 years)Previous experience as a corporate controller and/or in a Business Unit (minimum 3 years)Knowledge of SAP FI: invoice visualization, invoice payment status, due date query, invoice extraction, purchase order history, general ledger extractionAbility to coordinate with the different Stakeholders involved: IT Systems, Purchasing, Treasury, Management Control, Corporate Accounting Regulations, Organization and Processes, HR, Country Administration and External Partner.LanguagesEnglish - must have (Advanced)Spanish - must have (Advanced)Software ToolsMicrosoft Office Tools - must have (Advanced)SAP FI - must have (Advanced)PBCS and FCCS (Oracle) - valuableWorkiva - valuable----------------------------------------------------------------------------------ABOUT USBe part of a large and growing technology company that is redefining the future of telecoms.We are the European leader in telecommunications infrastructure and technological innovation, a company with strong geographic expansion and ambitious plans for sustainable global growth.We help people connect and interact with the world, working with passion, honesty and integrity.
