EMEA STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Job Purpose: The EMEA Strategic Accounts Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining close relationships with Group Purchasing Organisations (GPOs) both Public and Private, and third party (B2B) accounts within their designated region, maximizing sales opportunities and profitability aligned to Teleflex corporate strategy, as defined by the EMEA Strategic Accounts Director. Key Responsibilities: • Present and sell Teleflex’s value propositions to identified top tier EMEA strategic organisations as defined within their regional strategic account list, targeting Senior level decision makers and influencers • Collaborate with and create a unified strategy working with local Business Unit leaders to identify and prioritise opportunities and risks in their strategic accounts • Apply business analysis and planning skills to identify and implement improvement opportunities for revenue and margin increase • Coordinate the traffic of field sales activities within their strategic accounts in order to pursue identified opportunities and reduce risks of revenue and margin loss • Influence senior level stakeholders both internally and externally to gain alignment and commitment to strategic account and B2B activity by preparing and presenting recommendations • Management of B2B accounts to develop preferred partners, enabling long term channel consolidation and effective reduction of third-party wholesalers and distributor accounts within their region • Ensure harmonization of pricing within their region which alines with Teleflex EMEA pricing matrix, working closely with the tenders and pricing teams to ensure implementation • Provide regular business updates to key internal stakeholders for their regional strategic account list, which include sales revenue and margin reviews • Participate in EMEA strategic projects as defined by the Strategic Accounts Director, performing additional duties to drive harmonization of business process across their region as required • Adhere to and ensure compliance with Teleflex Medical’s code of conduct, all company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards Key Relationships / Interfaces • EMEA Commercial Directors • EMEA Regional BU leads and Sales Managers • European GPO’s, Distributors, Military organisations, and NGO’s • Pricing, Contract & Tender teams • Sales force Position requirements: • 5-7 years progressive corporate selling in the HealthTech environment. • A demonstrated track record for meeting sales objectives in a HealthTech company. • Demonstrated experience in multi-level, major account-based sales processes. • A solid understanding of the medical device industry, and healthcare systems across EMEA is required. • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of people having varying backgrounds, education, and experience. • Strong Project Management and Business Analysis skills. Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Business Analysis. • High degree of initiative. • Self-motivated, proactive, and creative • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels • Demonstrated leadership and management skills • Strong time management, planning, and organisational skills • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel extensively if required (>25%).
