We are currently expanding our team in Spain – Valencia and are looking for a dedicated Freight Forwarder Import: Freight Forwarder Import POSITIONAs Forwarder, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative execution and follow-up of import dossiers. As a forwarder, you are tasked with overseeing the whole picture, meaning you are responsible for both receiving and recording incoming orders, before booking the necessary transport for these orders and drawing up the required documents. You will monitor each shipment right up to its full completion, keeping the customer updated on its progress. This means you are also responsible for validating purchase invoices and billing. You will ascertain the costs for each dossier and draw up subsequent quotes. PROFILEWe are looking for a highly motivated candidate who already has experience in import operation of ocean freight in a logistics company. You know your way around customs procedures and provide nothing less than excellent customer service. You possess a strong analytical mindset and are both business- and customer-oriented. You thrive in a team environment and are eager to improve your organizational skills. You’re PC literate, quick to learn new systems, and fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
