With a focus on impactful investments, the firm manages a diverse portfolio of projects spanning solar, wind, and other renewable energy sectors, delivering long-term value for investors.About the Role: The Global Head of Asset Management (Managing Director) will oversee the management and optimisation of a diverse portfolio of renewable energy infrastructure assets worldwide, with a strong emphasis on assets during the construction stage. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the successful candidate will shape and execute the firm’s global asset management strategy while working closely with investors, project teams, and stakeholders.Responsibilities:Design and implement a global asset management strategy that integrates the firm's financial, operational, and ESG objectives.Ensure effective management of large-scale renewable energy projects during the construction phase, focusing on risk mitigation, cost control, and timely completion.Oversee the performance of the global asset portfolio, ensuring optimal returns, adherence to timelines, and risk management across all project stages.Develop and maintain robust operational frameworks, ensuring the efficient transition from construction to operational phases and ongoing performance monitoring.Lead and mentor an international asset management team, building capacity to deliver high-quality outcomes across geographies.Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, partners, regulators, and local communities, ensuring alignment on project goals and addressing concerns proactively.Monitor financial performance metrics, ensuring targets are met and identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiencies.Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction and operational stages, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project agreements.Lead the integration of sustainability initiatives within asset operations, ensuring projects achieve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.Qualifications:Advanced degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Over 15 years of experience in infrastructure investment, with significant expertise in renewable energy asset management and large-scale project construction oversight.Proven track record of managing diverse renewable energy portfolios, including projects during construction, across multiple geographies.Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale energy projects on time and within budget during the construction phase.Strong leadership experience, with the ability to build and manage high-performing international teams.In-depth understanding of financial modeling, performance analysis, and investment lifecycle management.Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks, contract negotiations, and risk management in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
