INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AUDITOR

IT Auditor II- Barcelona, Office based• Provide independent and objective assurance and advisory services that focus on improving organizational effectiveness governance, risk, and control process and practices, including internal controls over financial reporting (SOX)• Identify and evaluate risk, particularly in the areas of information technology and cybersecurity• Quickly build a broad knowledge of the Company’s business operations and strategies, as well as external issues impacting corporate and the business unitsKey Responsibilities:• Lead and participate in high-impact finance, operational, information technology and cybersecurity audits to drive strategic transformation of the business• Assess business risk and enhance our standard control framework thorough evaluation of our global IT SOX Program• Utilize data analytics to spot trends, identify risk-based samples, increase audit, and drive efficiency• Collaborate across functions and with external resources to foster continuous improvement and operational efficiency• Present summarized observations in a business-minded audit approach• Create value through identification of process improvements, system enhancements, and recommendations• Maintain current knowledge of emerging professional standards, relevant regulatory initiatives, industry trends and threats, and advancements in information technology used in businessRequirements and Qualification:• 2+ years of professional experience in audit, IT, accounting, or finance roles• Fluent verbal and written communication in English (written and spoken)• Experience executing audits or projects involving requests for information and performing detailed reviews• ERP and financial systems experience (with system like MS Dynamics, SAP, and Hyperion)• Data processing or analytics experience preferred• Experience working for or auditing a U.S.-based publicly traded company with global operationsSkills, competencies and personality traits:• Strong relationship-building skills• High level of personal accountability• Internationally oriented, culturally sensitive• Strong sense of team and fair play• Strong communication, influencing, and change management skills• Ability to manage multiple priorities• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills• Knowledge and experience in project managementOther:• Relevant experience of performing external or internal audits for large, SEC/publicly listed US entities• Programming knowledge (Python, SQL scripts, DAX formulas, etc.)• Foreign Language skills• Demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems with guidance• Strong work ethic and unquestionable integrity• Presenting in a clear and compelling manner to senior audit leaders• Ability to travel up to 25%
