Senior IT Support Engineer (Permanent Position)Location: Hybrid Model(Madrid Based)Start Date: ASAPAbout The Company:We have partnered with a company who builds, owns and operates sustainable infrastructure assets that produce efficient natural gas and green solar and wind energy, providing long-term value to shareholders, stakeholders and host communities. Since their inception, they have been early movers in the energy industry, adopting new initiatives that pave the way for communities across the globe and helping forge their path towards a carbon-neutral landscape.Key Responsibilities:Providing technical support to end-users for IT and OT-related issues through various communication channels such as phone, ticket system, or in person.Assisting end-users in setting up and configuring computers, mobile devices, and software applications.Troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity problems promptly and effectively.Investigating and identifying the root causes of recurring technical issues, implementing preventive measures to reduce future incidents.Process of 3rd level inquiries and fault reports and coordinate suppliers and other parties involved if necessaryMaintaining an accurate inventory of IT/OT assets, including hardware and software licensesProduce both technical and business documentsCreate capacity analysis/planning for our environmentMonitor various systems performance and coordinate the measures to ensure functionality (updates, upgrades, replacements)Implement best practice security measures such as hardening, ACL and firewallsQualifications and experience:Degree in Information Technology from University, Technical School, or comparable with several years of work experienceProfound knowledge and several years of experience in the field of system and network administrationStrong experience with Microsoft Windows (both servers and final users) based, and limited Linux/Unix, environments.Advanced understanding of network topologies (routing, switching), WAN/LAN, VPN and wireless communicationExperience with virtualization technologies – VMWareExperience with backup technologies - VeeamExperience with application and infrastructure monitoringExperience with network devices from HPE/Aruba, CISCO, Fortinet products is mandatoryIf you would like to have a chat about this exciting opportunity, apply below or reach out directly to g.ndonfak@annapurnarecruitment.com
