MAINTENANCE AND FACILITIES LEAD

Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified Maintenance and Facilities Lead This position will be located in Aznalcazar (Seville).The Fall Creek Maintenance and Facilities Lead is responsible for managing the personnel and the daily operations of the maintenance department. This position reports directly to the ES Operations Manager and supervises team leaders and employees in the maintenance department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)Responsible for the maintenance of the electrical, mechanical and related systems in the nursery. Proactively identifies and prioritizes maintenance needs.Collaborates with managers and leads to coordinate equipment, manpower, and facility utilization. Determination of personnel, material, equipment and supplies to be used. Schedule the transfer of equipment and personnel from one project to another.Schedules, supervises or subcontracts the maintenance, repair and overhaul of farm rolling stock, such as tractors, forklifts and other motorized equipment.Collaborate in the design, supply and construction of new facilities and machinery.Develops and monitors the annual budget and make monthly forecasts in a timely manner.Develops employees. Sets performance goals and objectives, development plans, and conduct timely performance evaluations. Establish and maintain good morale, motivation and recognition of achievement.Actively supports the company's safety programs and standards, including Occupational Risk Prevention systems. Adheres to all environmental and safety guidelines, policies and procedures. Supervises the acquisition of security equipment and compliance with the recommendations of the Security Committee.Manage a preventive maintenance program to ensure buildings, infrastructure, machinery, and systems are maintained on a regular schedule. Maintain inspection and repair records. Ensures that all equipment and systems are safe, reliable and in good working order, minimizing unscheduled downtime.Supports, perpetuates and enhances Fall Creek's core values and corporate culture.REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAININGIt requires 5+ years of experience as a maintenance, construction or facilities lead in a manufacturing environment.Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in agronomy, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a nursery, agricultural or manufacturing environment.Typically, higher education with experience in Health & Safety is required or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious experience in budgeting and expense management.It requires effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. You must have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, "internal" customers, suppliers, and colleagues.Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work as part of a team with internal departments. Ability to interact effectively within a diverse workforce.Ability to lead and manage a team within an ever-changing environment with multiple priorities.It requires good judgment and the ability to positively influence team decision-making.You must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company values, and a commitment to personal and professional development.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe ability to supervise, inspect, and maintain electrical, plumbing and other systems.Experience at GLOBAL G.A.P or similar certificates.Small Water Systems Operator Certification.Fluent Spanish & English.Experience working with integrated ERP systems such as SAP Business One.Who is Fall Creek?
