The role is varied, with tasks centring around basic accounts, and payments of contractors/ workers. The role requires someone with client invoicing and contractor/ worker payment knowledge. This can be highly pressurised as there are strict deadlines.Accountabilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines Experience in processing payments for large volumes of workers/ contractors Updating, checking or collecting client or supplier data data, when required To do regular checks on bank details for suppliers and contractor/ worker information To do regular checks of agency information, bank details contact information as and when needed To ensure bank details and payments are correct before any submissions To administer credit checks on new suppliers (advantageous but not essential) To complete invoices as and when needed for business purposes, with the approval of the PSM before being submitted to suppliers/ agencies Experience in accounts receivable; recording incoming payments, matching payments made to outstanding payments, updating, and reconciling accounts and cash balances Experience in accounts payable; recording incoming payments, matching payments made to Outstanding payments, updating, and reconciling accounts and cash balances Using an Excel spreadsheet for reposting purposes Maintaining and following the correct procedures set by Workwell Global, whilst upholding legislationResponsibilitiesExperience working within a high-volume payments/ payroll departmentA clear understanding of Spanish and English taxation for workers/ contractors, under PAYE (UK) and Spanish Labour lawsExperience and knowledge of the processes from inception to completion of the payment processMonitoring and issuing invoices prepared by Payment Solutions ConsultantsUnderstanding the pay calculationsAbility to pick up and adhere to Workwell Global processes for paymentsCapabilities The ability to work diligently and meticulously at all timesA great eye for detailPatience and passion for dataHighly organised with excellent time management skillsHighly numerate with a thirst for knowledge within this fieldExcellent IT skills and the use of MS Office suite, adaptable to CRM systemsAdaptable to changes as and when they happen for business and legislative purposesExcellent communicator in English and Spanish (written, verbal, audible)Mon – Thur 9:00 – 18:00 Fri 9:00 – 16:00| Office Based | Full Time | Permanent | Barcelona/ London Office
