As a key player, you will:Evaluate and Understand Portfolio Changes: Lead in analyzing and assessing alterations in the portfolio, ensuring optimal strategic decisions.Support Commercial Transactions: Provide expert support in both new and ongoing commercial transactions, as well as in the development of new business ventures.Client-Facing Role: Actively engage with clients, delivering top-tier Energy Management services. This includes the management of Energy Management Services Agreements (EMSA), Market Risk Service Agreements (MRSA), and specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Collaborate with ENGIE GBUs: Work closely with ENGIE Global Business Units and their equity partners, facilitating cooperation and service provision across Spain and Portugal.This position requires a proactive approach to managing both internal and external relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional value in Energy Management.Role:Client advisory on risk and renewable portfolio managementAdvise clients on how to reduce market risks (and secure the expected market value). Propose a risk mandate and define management intentions on the future hedging actions both on PW and GOs. Participation to GBU energy committees: strengthen the risk reporting/control and contribution, collaboration and preparation of monthly PM committees.Derisk/Improve Engie’s renewable portfolio of Market Representation contracts, through the renegotiation of existing contracts and the addition of complementary assets in the MRSA portfolio, in close collaboration with ST and RES teams.Join forces with Origination & Structuring team in commercial transactions (PPAs, MRSAs, etc.) maximizing the market value for ENGIE and clients, provide expertise in structuring contracts and structure additional services on market access and risk management.Management of current GEMS contracts with various stakeholders (external and internal) and following client claims and regulatory inquiries.Studies and portfolio monitoringConduct valuation and sensitivity studies on renewable portfolios under management or during negotiations.Provide support on energy markets topics to ENGIE’s GBUs, including M&A initiatives in Iberia or services around Control Center and BESS development.Closely follow commodity and energy regulation evolution to understand the potential impact on positions and revenues, and help our clients maximizing return/risk ratio.Other transversal responsibilities include:Modelling and P&L reportingMaintain a dynamic and up-to-date representation of clients’ assets in GEMS ETRM systems, so that a proper follow-up of exposures and risk metrics is availableRepresent a realistic expected value of the future revenues of these assets and its sensitivitiesReport and explain the financial performance of the power plants in coordination with Finance and the other operational teams.Hedge and mandate execution Cover market access services to GBUs entities.Interact with trading desk through internal tools (EGMA) and understand market context (liquidity constraints, tradable products).Education and professional background:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related economic field to provide a strong technical foundation.Experienced in dealing primarily with internal clients, as well as external clients.At least 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sectorLanguages:Proficiency in SpanishHigh EnglishTravels:Travel occasionally to headquarters or to other countries in order to share experiences or to assist to special events.If you meet these requirements, then you are the talent we are looking for.
