SENIOR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST (IFRS)

JOB OVERVIEWProviding support and advice on international accounting standards (IFRS) to the subsidiaries in which the Group operates, as well as monitoring and execution of controls relating to the verification of the correct application of the Accounting Policy defined by the Group.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESAnalysis the accounting treatment of contracts under IFRS and elaborate the accounting memorandum of the analysis.Participate in the process of implementing new IFRS accounting standards in the Group.Participate in the design of internal controls to ensure the correct application of the Group accounting standards.Participate in the process of establishing and standardizing accounting policies of the Cellnex Group and provide support to subsidiaries on its practical application.Analysis and evaluation of consolidated financial information.Participate in the preparation of documents for the Group’s governing bodies (Board of Directors and Audit and Risk Management Committee).Support for the disclosures required by the standard for the financial statements (half-yearly and annual).Collaborate in the calculation of Purchase Price Allocations (“PPA”).Assessment and analysis of the impairment of assets.Participate in the monitoring and coordination of relationship with the Group's external auditors in relation to the financial audit of the Group.Coordination with, Global IT, external consultants, and Integrations Dept to ensure timely and efficient implementation of all aspects and requirement in the timeframe stipulated in the accounting standards.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducationBachelor of Business Administration, Economics or similar.Relevant ExperienceAt least 3-4 years of experience in Audit (Big Four)High level of experience in IFRS (International Accounting Standards) and PGCValuable experience in an international environmentCritical experience: Knowledge of the current market, technologies, trends in the wireless telecommunications infrastructures markets.LanguagesEnglish - must have (Advanced)Spanish - must have (Advanced)Software ToolsMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) - must have (Advanced)SAP RE - valuable (Intermediate)SAP FI - valuable (Intermediate)ABOUT USBe part of a large and growing technology company that is redefining the future of telecommunications!We are the European leader in telecommunications infrastructure and technological innovation, a company with strong geographic expansion and ambitious plans for sustainable global growth.
