SENIOR LEGAL ADVISOR

Hello there! We’re  Vodafone Intelligent Solutions  (also known as _VO IS) and we’re looking for a     Senior Legal Advisor     Your role in a nutshell.
To provide timely and constructive solution-oriented contract services to maximize revenues and profitability in a manner that minimizes liabilities and risks, whilst delighting the internal and external customer.
To provide support for drafting, negotiation, closure & implementation of contracts.
What you’ll do.
•    Assists with the development of new practices and processes, and shares best practices.
•    Coordinates and leads the development and sharing of know-how and precedent materials.
•    Contributes to the development of know-how and precedent materials relevant to the responsible area and the wider VGE team.
•    Serves as SPOC, process expert and trainer for training colleagues in related processes and developing their negotiation skills and capabilities.
•    Participates in the development and implementation of the strategic initiatives of the Legal/ Contract/ Commercial/ Sales departments.
•    Owns the processes of the team with full responsibility for their regular updates.
•    Proposes solutions to prevent/ mitigate risks of customer issues and queries related to complex opportunities.
•    Proposes the best alternative from the different contracting possibilities for the given opportunity, •    Serves as a primary backup for the team leader for process, process exception and contract negotiation approvals; allocations and escalations; and all team related matters.
•    Be part of the creation and implementation of contract management processes and ensure continued compliance with set processes, policies and standards  •    Prepare contract risk assessments for internal stakeholder’s approval based on internal policies and procedures •    Train stakeholders on defined contractual concept and contract management processes •    Maintaining effective contact with relevant individuals in other key functions outside Group Enterprise Legal, such as Regulatory professionals in the Public Policy teams, Group Technology, Tax, etc, influencing and assisting in discussions with such personnel to ensure the best legal solution to meet commercial objectives.

What you will bring to the team.
•    deep and solid knowledge of commercial and contract law •    experience in providing legal support to commercial business activities preferably in an international environment •    computer skills (MS Office) •    project management skills •    analytical skills •    problem solving skills •    reliability and proactivity •    communication and influencing skills •    teamwork •    excellent negotiation skills •    ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
•    excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken •    Managing a changing environment – able to deal with complexity and identify and manage ambiguity with support from more Senior members of the team.
Able to lead contract negotiations with major multinational companies in Enterprise business.
•    Credibility to build rapport with, persuade and influence personnel within VGE organisation and other functions.
•    Commercial understanding and proven track record of delivery.
•    Innovation and Creativity – understands the technological and commercial challenges and recommends innovative solutions.
Able to assess the viability of ideas and suggestions and develop them further.
•    8+ years of relevant legal experience in the field of commercial and contracting law or 6+ years of relevant legal experience in the field of commercial, contracting and telecommunications law plus BAR exam     In return we provide you with.
