Job DescriptionSoftware Development Snr Manager:Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare.The role:Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. It is a dynamic and flexible workplace where you’ll belong and be encouraged.As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.Responsibilities: Grow and lead multiple engineers across Europe to deliver critical services and components for the Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure organization Lead projects that span multiple infrastructure domains including networking, storage, and virtualization Provide technical direction and audit design decisions of their team Cultivate best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules Drive operational excellence for their team's areas of responsibility Collaborate with other team leaders on developing and presenting product roadmapsQualifications: 10+ years of experience of growing and leading successful teams 10+ years of experience leading and successfully delivering large and complex technical projects from concept to production Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering fieldCareer Level - M3ResponsibilitiesAs a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.
