Your New Company: Novalins is a small medical translation company, founded in 2011, specializing in high-end translation services for healthcare organizations worldwide. In a rapidly evolving market, staying ultra-competitive is essential, and we’re doing just that by embracing AI and MTPE (Machine Translation with Post-Editing) since early this year. Our commitment to adopting the latest technologies has helped us solidify our position as a trusted partner in the life sciences industry. We’re ISO-certified and serve over 300 clients, many of whom are leaders in the medical sector. Role Overview: 2024 has been a transformative year for Novalins. We introduced AI into our translation services, migrated to advanced translation platforms to streamline operations, and restructured our sales and operations teams to meet evolving client needs. With these advancements nearly complete, we’re looking for an energetic Strategic Missions Manager to help guide our journey into 2025 and beyond. This role will drive high-impact missions that address key challenges and growth opportunities. Working closely with senior management, the Strategic Missions Manager will assess, strategize, and execute these missions, collaborating with various teams to achieve each mission’s unique objectives. You’ll be our go-to mission leader—minus the dramatic rooftop chases and dangling from helicopters, but with just as much impact!Key Responsibilities:·      Mission definition and planning: Collaborate with management to define mission objectives, scope, and expected outcomes, conducting in-depth assessments to create mission-specific strategies.·      Execution and team collaboration: Lead each mission with a dedicated team based on the mission's requirements, managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful completion. We don’t need a superhero, but if you can get things done faster than a speeding bullet, we won’t complain!·      Sales and operations alignment: Work closely with sales and operations to drive growth, improve efficiencies, and ensure quality. Oversee account expansion, dormant account reactivation, and new client acquisition.·      Performance monitoring and reporting: Track mission progress, report KPIs and mission outcomes to management, and assess how each mission supports the company’s strategic goals.·      Crisis prevention and management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring resilience and stability across projects. If you can turn “uh-oh” moments into “no problem” solutions, you’re exactly who we’re looking for!·      Post-mission review and impact: Conduct post-mission analysis to evaluate success and long-term benefits, applying insights and best practices to future projects. Key Qualifications:·      Strategic leadership: 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally in project management, strategic planning, or business development. If your idea of fun is aligning team KPIs over coffee, we want you!·      Business operations knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of how companies operate, with a particular emphasis on sales and operations functions. Experience in growth strategies and process optimization, ideally within service-oriented or tech-driven sectors.·      Project management expertise: Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects, with proficiency in project management tools.·      Data-driven decision making: Strong analytical skills and knowledge of KPI tracking.·      Adaptability and agility: Ability to pivot and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Think ninja, but for business!·      Problem-solving and crisis management: Skilled in risk identification and crisis management, with an ability to restore stability. Calm under pressure? Perfect. Able to find humour in the chaos?
