VML is a multinational advertising agency whose purpose is to build genuine relationships between brands and people that have a significant impact on the world, by putting technology at the service of creativity.The VML strategic department is seeking for a Strategic Planner to be part of our Strategic Team in Barcelona. The right candidate is someone who can fuel creative work providing new solutions to the usual problems.WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU!Your work will be…· Research of trends, consumer behaviors and culture· Prepare benchmarks and competitor analysis focused on brand proposition in online and offline media.· Prepare creative briefs to define strategic opportunities and accompany the creative team to bring ideas to life.· Define and develop omnichannel strategic proposals based on consumer truths and consumer journeys.· Provide support in the development of strategic presentations for the different clients for whom the agency works.· Keep track of the effectiveness of the strategy and optimize it when necessary. Work with brand and performance KPIs.· Manage a wide range of projects (national, international, B2C, B2B…)· Work close to different teams: Creativity, Social Media, Content, Data...It would be great if you had…· Advertising or Marketing Degree. If you have a Strategic Planning or Digital Strategy postgraduate even better!· At least 3-4 years of experience as Strategist in a communication agency, brand consultancy or in a marketing department.· Insightful research skills, including desk research and qualitative and quantitative research.· Thorough knowledge of social media, especially in the execution of advertising campaigns.· Public speaking skills.
