We are seeking a creative and skilled Visual Content Specialist to enhance our digital presence and support our mission through compelling visual storytelling.Position Summary:The Visual Content Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing visual content across various platforms, including social media and marketing campaigns. This role will focus on photography, video production, graphic design, and maintaining an organized audiovisual archive to support the institution's objectives.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation:IAAC & Fab Lab Social Media:Develop visual content that reflects the mission and values of IAAC and Fab Lab, ensuring coverage of Academic, Institutional, Project, and Event categories while aligning with key focus areas.Marketing Assets:Create visual content for Google and META Ads that aligns with IAAC’s mission, ensuring that all materials promote Academic, Institutional, Project, and Event initiatives.Design, retouch, and adapt assets for recruitment campaigns, including marketing materials, banners, and video advertisements.Photography and Video Production:In-House Production:Act as the in-house photographer, videographer, and video editor, providing support for various events and projects.Documentation:Capture and document research projects, personnel, and facilities for promotional purposes.Educational Content:Produce audiovisual materials based on educational content, including videos, reels, and animations that enhance learning experiences.Graphic Design:Template Development:Develop and update templates for internal and external use, including Lecture Series, booklets, presentations, and reports, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.Audiovisual Archive Maintenance:Organise and Manage Digital Archives:Maintain a structured digital archive of all brand-related assets, including images, videos, and documents, for communication purposes.Ensure Accessibility and Security:Implement access controls to ensure that only authorized personnel (e.g., freelancers, agencies) can modify or access sensitive materials, safeguarding the integrity of brand assets.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Production, or a related field.Proven experience in visual content creation, including photography, videography, and graphic design.Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools.Strong creative skills with a keen eye for detail and composition.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.What We Offer:An opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment at the intersection of architecture and technology.Professional development and growth within a supportive team.Application Process: Interested candidates should submit their resume and a portfolio showcasing their relevant work to careers@iaac.netJob location(s)Number of available vacancies: 1Company/Institute: Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC)Country: SpainCity: BarcelonaNeighborhood: PoblenouIAAC is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organizational culture.
