ACCOUNTANT

Our client is a multinational insurance company with headquarters in Barcelona.
Focused on managing business risk from a global perspective.
¿Qué harás? - You will have to ensure to comply with the Group’s reporting calendar in producing complete, accurate, timely and auditable processing of transactions under both US and local GAAP.
- You will have to manage claims related entries and non-technical journals (accruals, prepayments, provisions, VAT and corporate tax, payroll, statutory adjustments, deferred income, stock, equity, etc.) and related reconciliations.
- You will manage intercompany bookings, reconciliations and settlements.
- You will have to prepare Balance sheet validation/substantiation process and back-up support identifying and resolving issues affecting the integrity of the ledger.
- You will have to assist with internal and external audits.
- You will organize the preparation of financial statements in accordance with local accounting policies, management reporting packs and group reporting under US GAAP ¿A quién buscamos? You are the right person if.
- You have excellent written and spoken English.
- You are a native Polish speaker, any other language a plus.
- You have the ability to work methodically to meet deadlines.
- You are a strong Communicator.
- You are able to work autonomously and in a team.
- You have intermediate Excel knowledge.
