Cascadia Motion is manufacturer of electric vehicle propulsion system solutions.
Specifically this means inverters, motors, gearboxes and supporting equipment.
The company owns the project from concept design through in-house manufacture and after-sales support.
Products are typically prototype to mid-volume but with a volume graduation pathway into other facilities within the parent company’s network of plants.
Our customer base is extensive and international ranging from OEM to startup and spanning across all vehicle types.

In this role, you will do your work at our Wilsonville (Oregon) location.
Key Responsibilities.
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) Assists with time sensitive special projects and perform other assigned duties when needed.
Assist in 5 day monthly closing process including assigned account analysis and journal entry creation and review with finance team.
Assist in the planning, administration, control and reconciliation / reporting of physical inventory counts.
Review, improve & implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP Be a part of various department-wide initiatives Formulate (Other) account analysis & reconciliations Work with finance manager and office manager on customer accounts, including Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable assistance, account collections (as needed), AR and AP reporting and analysis.
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests Assist in monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Assist Sales & finance team with new customer setup, accounting related email communications, timely responses of financial related information.
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems Comprehensive working knowledge of GAAP and of financial reporting Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines Able to work independently with limited supervision and guidance.
Able to learn and master tasks without repeated instruction or supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3 years of overall general accounting experience BA/BS in Accounting required Experience with QuickBooks is highly desired Experience with Fishbowl Inventory (or similar ERP) desired Must pass SPD Criminal Background Check Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
