ACCOUNTANT & ADMINISTRATIVE - #MCA, MADRID

How about becoming an Accountant with a career path towards Administrative and Financial Manager at Astek? You will be responsible for all accounting and financial operations for several of our entities in Spain (Astek IBERIA and SOTEC), with the objective of creating a finance cluster for the Spanish territory and eventually expanding its scope.💼Your Mission:Produce financial data and statements for Spanish entities.This includes, but is not limited to:- Performing a full set of accounts for the assigned companies, including:- Daily operations- General accounting- Customers- Suppliers- Payroll- Tax-related matters (including HR Taxes)- Monthly closing of accounts and review of financial statements, working with the shared finance team to clear aged items.- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, legal, and various business units to develop policies, processes, and drive key system initiatives and improvements.- Engage with external stakeholders, such as corporate secretaries, auditors, tax agents, etc.- Ensure the accuracy of financial information by verifying data entries and taking corrective action when necessary.- Build an accounting delivery center for European countries (goal within 1 year).- Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your direct or dotted-line supervisor.🏃Your Background:- You have a degree in Accounting.- You speak fluent English and Spanish.- You have at least 3-4 years of experience in Accounting, with a focus on tax and payroll matters.👤Your Personality:- You are a sociable person who enjoys teamwork.- Autonomous, entrepreneurial, proactive.- Able to work independently and travel between different entities when needed.- Comfortable working with a manager who may be based abroad.✨ SOTEC y ASTEK IBERIASince 2015, Astek Iberia has been supporting its clients in their development throughout Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Basque Country, Andalusia, Galicia, etc.).SOTEC CONSULTING is an IT consulting firm of Spanish origin with an international presence.
