ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Job DescriptionWe are looking to recruit an Accountant Payable for an immediate start to work in our Europe´s Barcelona based- Finance department which can offer excellent long-term career opportunities.You will have a variety of responsibilities, supporting the overall shared service function.Main responsibilities and functionsSole responsibility for the Accounts Payable LedgerProviding assistance with accounts payable, payment runs and payables managementResponsibility of bank reconciliations and paymentsPosting and reconciling school finance reports weeklyReconciling of intercompany accounts at month endAdvising staff and assisting them with queries and gathering information as requiredProviding adhoc support when required by senior members of the teamQualificationsQualifications and experienceMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably inclusive of accounting modulesAP experience requiredSkills and competenciesIntermediate Excel knowledge (V Lookups, pivot tables, formatting of data…)Strong technical accounting skillsStrong customer service ethos and high attention to detailSystematic and organised approachStrong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to process high volumes of work, to deadlines with minimal supervisionQuick to pick up and apply knowledgeHigh level of initiative, self-motivation and driveReliable with a flexible attitudeEnglish and Spanish required level C1/C2Additional InformationBenefits The opportunity to develop your skills in an international environment, in the exciting field of language travelFlexible working policyA dynamic work atmosphereAn environment where corporate ethics and sustainable development matterDiscounts on medical insuranceFree language courses abroad every yearCompetitive salaryLunch vouchersFree coffee and teaFree breakfast on Mondays and fresh fruit on Thursdays
