You will be part of the Research & Development team.¿What would be your mission within this role? As a Android Platform and Application Engineer, you will be responsible for the Develop and optimize Android-based platforms and applications to support advanced eSIM solutions (Consumer Device and IoT Architectures). This role bridges system-level development, user-facing application design, and end-to-end testing to deliver high-performance, reliable, and user-centric solutions.Main Tasks and Responsibilities:Customize and extend the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) Develop and optimize drivers and librariesBuild and maintain high-quality mobile applicationsConduct rigorous testing and debuggingContribute to system designIntegrate web services and APIsResearch and implement new TechnologiesDocument technical processes and workflows.Required knowledge:AOSP Customization: Expertise in modifying the Android Framework, HAL, and native layers.Mobile Application Development: Proficiency in Android apps using Java and Kotlin.Testing and Debugging: Strong knowledge of testing tools and methodologies for Android platforms.System Optimization: Skills in performance tuning, memory management, and power efficiency.Multilingual Communication: Fluency in English and Spanish; Chinese language skills are highly valued.If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.3+ years of previous and proven experience as a Android Platform and Application Engineer or similar role. Availability to Travel: Required (not frequent)Proficiency in Spanish and Good written, reading and fluent spoken english to communicate with our global team.A good level of Chinese is a plus.Strong teamwork and Analytical skillsAutonomous problem-solving.
