As part of our GLobal IT DPDC (Digital Platform & Delivery Centers) team we have a new vacancy within the Platform Services & Releases department consisting of the Hardware & Firmware team and the Application Development & Data team.You will be the lead person of the Application Development & Data Engineering team and your prime role will be delivering DEKRA’s IoT Platform functionalities and services.Your Role:Your responsibility covers the entire Application Development process including planning and coding the applications, data quality, efficiency, and also to promote R&D processes and innovation in general. You will manage a team of Azure Developers located globally.You will be responsible for cloud based (Azure, Databricks) data warehouse and infrastructure, will work closely with stakeholders across the DEKRA global organization, will also participate in pre-project discussions and in the creation of proof-of-concepts to promote automation and digitalization opportunities within DEKRA.Main responsibilities:Responsible for the adherence to the architecture and the end-to-end development strategy of the IoT Platform.Data ingestion to the support decisions dashboards/alerts.Manage a team of senior engineers, specializing in Web/Mobile development, Cloud, DevOps, Data Engineering, and Quality Control.Synchronize the upgrade of the strategy, design the solutions, and plan workloads within the IoT Team and project managers.Coordination with parallel areas to follow the company goals.Corporate Benefits and Other Information:Summer and Christmas intensive workday, as well as every Friday throughout the year.Working hours: Monday to Friday with flexible entry hours.Possibility to participate in the company corporate benefits: Private health insurance, restaurant vouchers, opportunity to teach English classes...Discounts on major brands: Textiles, consumer goods, leisure, electronics, travel agencies...Ongoing and specialized training provided by the organization.Position located in MalagaContract: Permanent.Remote work: Possibility of telecommuting through a hybrid system after a successful trial period.Qualifications:Worked as a Senior developer at least 5 yearsKnowledge of .Net Framework and MS Azuregood data integration services experience, Databricks would be huge advantageKnowledge of application services, Azure functions, event hubs, IoT Hub, visualizing data, UX/UI development, dashboard developmentSome knowledge about Azure data explorer, Azure data lake or Azure data factoryAt least three years’ experience in managing development teams or similar technical leadership role (being a tutor, or supervising teams, processes)Some experience with Phyton, Angular or Full stack, Frond end or Backend developmentExperience with cloud solution development and managementWorked with or coordinated work of teams/people in different geographical locationsExperience with IoT platforms and related servicesScrum and DevOps experience (tools, method)Fluent in English.Experience and other skills desirable:Team and project management.
