Description Scopely is looking for a talented and experienced UI Artist with an exceptional understanding of interface design to join our Star Trek Fleet Command team in Barcelona on a remote/hybrid basis.

What You'll Do As a member of the UI art team you will work closely with the UI Lead to create and help develop the visual language for the user interface.
You will also have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team of expert developers.
Create outstanding UI assets and mockups conceived by your exceptional creativity Work with the UX Designer to visualize various interface systems in our game Provide UI Animation and UI Interaction Design Be a strong advocate for UI Design Follow IP style guideline to build and deliver efficient and polished visual assets in the accurate format and timeframe Collaborate with engineers and designers to find the best solution that meets the functional requirements Auther and maintain UI related documentation What We're Looking For You will be able to demonstrate a history of shipping games and crafting spectacular UI for games as an UI artist Excellent eye for detail and quality Extensive portfolio displaying diverse artistic skills with an outstanding understanding of graphic design and typography Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Unity Able to create 3D assets and have basic experience implementing into engine Experience with After Effects for motion graphics and their relation to UI Understand core challenges of mobile UI from an artistic and technical perspective Strong visual design skills and understanding of usability design principles Ability to communicate within a dynamic, cross-discipline, and iterative team environment Growth mindset and an eye towards continuous improvement Self-motivated and collaborative, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Positive attitude and an ability to receive and provide objective feedback Effectively communicate in English Bonus Points Experienced working with an IP Good understanding of User Experience in mobile video games Implementation of UI screens in a Unity-based game client Knowledge of prototyping software like Figma or Adobe XD Knowledge of 3D software like C4D Enjoy Sci-fi A passion for games Please include a portfolio or PDF/links to examples of your work in the applicatio n.
