Operating as an internationally integrated partnership in over 100 countries and territories, we specialise in audit, tax and advisory services.As part of Forvis Mazars’ strategic move to create a centralized service to serve clients across Europe, we have created Global Compliance & Reporting service with teams, processes and technology that allows multinational groups to meet all its accounting, tax, payroll and legal obligations and commitments, both locally and internationally while having accurate information centralized and delivered from our Center of Excellence (CoE).We are hiring an Assistant Accountant to join this strongly growing team in Barcelona.This is an opportunity to contribute to a strategic project at Forvis Mazars and to work in an English-speaking and truly international environment with a high number of countries across Europe.Your missionDirect interaction with the different assigned clients (whatever their sector and size)Preparation, analysis, and review of the clients’ general accounting (suppliers, clients, accounting entries, provisions, prepayments, banks, fixed assets)Preparation of reporting, analytical accounting, treasury forecasts, as well as any additional information requested by the clientPreparation of the necessary documentation and information to compile and present the recurrent obligations of the clientsSupport the preparation of annual accounts and official booksSupport the automation, standardization, and improvement of internal accounting processesSupport in any of the functional areas defined in the department, depending on their skillsYour profileBachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics.At least 2 years working experience in accountingPostgraduate studies will be positively valuedKnowledge of SAP and ExcelGood oral and written communication in English (B2 or higher)Interest and ability to multi-task in a multi-disciplinary environment.Ability to prioritize workload and ability to work with strict reporting deadlinesWhat do we offerPermanent full-time contractHybrid working model (2 days of remote/week)Flexible compensation plan (restaurants, transportation, nursery)Health insuranceInternational and young environmentFruit, coffee and snack always available at our officeInclusion and DiversityAt Forvis Mazars inclusion and diversity are central to our values.
