Our mission is to contribute to help more people and business prosper.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGWe are looking for skilled back end focused software engineers with experience working with Java (or Kotlin) and Spring Boot, Kubernetes and AWS, who have experience working in a software on demand production environment. You will build Cloud-native, AWS-based, greenfield software and will have time and support to invent solutions to a wide variety of user, business, and technical challenges. We have no cut-and-paste roles and neither will your software be of the cut-and-paste (or integrate and configure) variety. We operate a 'build it and own it' culture, and so you will have a DevOps and individual contributor mindsetThese will be key hires for back-end building squads and help shape this area of the business for scale and be a key member of a fast-growing global team!Qualifications/RequirementsSoftware development in Java (Spring Boot) or Kotlin - design, build, and deployProduction deployment experience working with AWSExperience with automated build and test systems for CI/CD (using Docker, Jenkins, etc)Experienced in true Agile and its engineering practices with a true DevOps mindsetBack-end Development with Java or KotlinFluent in EnglishAble to deal with ambiguity and change.A self-starter who's able to work independently where necessary, without waiting for others. A strong sense of ownership is key to the way we work.Strong communication skills.LOCATIONSSAS has implemented a working from home model. This means that your workplace is your home residence as aligned to your contract. We can hire in Spain, Portugal or the Netherlands.#LI-DNI
