BACKEND AND DEVOPS DEVELOPER (PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR)

Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a Backend and DevOps Developer that would like to collaborate with one of the top global pharmaceutical companies. We are seeking a highly skilled Backend and DevOps Developer (SRE) to support, primarily, the rollout of our new CPM platform, which includes OneTrust UCPM, an AWS-based exclusion engine, an enterprise API (AWS and OpenShift), across various countries including the US and Europe.Deployment Support: Collaborate within a product team to facilitate the deployment of the CPM system across multiple countries.Development and Enhancement: Specify, develop (using Python), unit test, package, document, and support solutions/APIs deployed on AWS and RedHat OpenShift for managing consents, preferences, and exclusions. The existing solution requires significant enhancements.OneTrust Support & Integration: Maintain, configure the SaaS solution OneTrust UCPM (Universal Consent & Preference Management) and integrate with it via APIs/workflows.AWS Infrastructure: Support the provisioning of AWS infrastructure resources. Design, build, and deploy AWS service configurations using Terraform templates or blueprints for services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, MWAA, ECS, Glue, and RDS.Environment Maintenance: Ensure the AWS and OpenShift environments are cost-efficient and operating optimally. Implement monitoring to detect and respond to events/incidents.Testing: Participate in testing activities, including test automation, integration, and end-to-end testing.Support: Address daily support tasks, troubleshooting, and resolving issues promptly.Project Management: Actively participate to agile project management Scrum ceremonies. Help business partners/team refine user stories. Specify and document everything. Collaborate with global teams to ensure timely and within-scope project delivery.CI/CD Pipelines: Configure CI/CD pipelines to automate the promotion of new releases to higher environments. Skills / ExperienceLanguage Proficiency: Fluent in English (mandatory) with strong communication skills, particularly in virtual and global teams. Document all work in English.Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, MWAA, ECS, Glue, RDS, API Gateway), particularly in supporting infrastructure as code (via Terraform).Programming: Proficient in Python programming.DevOps Practices: Proficient with DevOps and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) practices, with knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of branching, merging, tagging, and maintaining version control.A minimum of 3-4 years in a similar role, with the ability to manage conflicts, challenge business customers, manage expectations, and maintain focus on overarching goals and vision.OpenShift Experience: Hands-on experience with RedHat OpenShift.Experience with Go language.Experience working with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence).Mindset: Proactive, autonomous, transparent, and customer-focused with meticulous attention to detail.Adaptability: Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and situations, understanding the rationale behind each scenario.
