Accountabilities.
As a Backend Developer, you will be instrumental in the development, maintenance, and scaling of our SaaS platform.
You will be part of Unify, a software that connects patients with medical trials.
Evinova has more than 15 software engineering teams in multiple locations.
Sweden, UK, Bulgaria, USA and Spain.
Essential Skills/Experience.
- Computer Science or similar degree - More than 5+ years of Software development experience - More than 3+ years focused on backend developments - Fully comfortable working with Nodejs and Typescript - Fully comfortable working with Java - Solid computer science foundations.
algorithms, data structures, concurrency and threading.
- Good understanding of Software Design Patterns & Object-Oriented Programming - Ability to write good unit tests is a must - Solid understanding of system architecture, including distributed systems and microservices - AWS Cloud.
Manage deployments on Kubernetes environments and Lambdas - Strong experience with datastores such as DynamoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch - Experience with Cloud tooling and building Infrastructure as Code.
terraform or similar - Worked with the version management tool GIT - Awareness of DevOps best practices and experience with CI/CD tools.
- Enthusiastic using agile methodologies.
scrum, kanban or xp - Great communication skills in English (verbal and written) - You have a patient-focused mindset.
- You enjoy collaborating and pairing with other software engineers.
- You welcome feedback from your peers and act upon it.
Desirable - Participation in open source projects - Cloud experience in Azure and Azure Functions - Secondary skill in web development, using HTML, JavaScript and React.
Knowledge of GraphQL.
