About the location.
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in on a vast private estate.
After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March , reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
Key Responsibilities.
· Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages to guests.
· Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stocked.
· Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests and accommodating special requests.
· Educate guests about menu items and coffee brewing techniques.
· Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Our Ideal Barista candidate will have.
· Experience.
Previous experience in a coffee shop or café environment is preferred, with familiarity in preparing coffee and espresso drinks.
· Barista Skills.
Proficient in espresso extraction, milk frothing, and various brewing methods (e.
., pour-over, French press) along with a passion for coffee.
· Customer Service.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a friendly demeanor and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
· Product Knowledge.
Understanding of different coffee beans, origins, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques to provide informed recommendations to customers.
· Teamwork.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
· Attention to Detail.
Keen attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup served.
· Time Management.
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
· Flexibility.
Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed to meet the demands of the café.
· Cleanliness.
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
· Adaptability.
Ability to learn new skills and adapt to changing menu offerings and customer preferences.
Work Experience.
2 Years Degree.
Technician Languages.
Spanish / English Language Ability.
High Language Proficiency.
Fluent Time.
