BI DATA SOLUTIONS LEAD

What you’ll do To coordinate, follow up and ensure delivery of incoming reporting requests with the other BI analysts.
To provide support and technical guidance and to be able to resolve any conflictual situation within reporting team.
Coordinate all the activities related to the production of management information and ad-hoc analysis sourced from data warehouse and ensure proper governance, strategy and enforcement of group and local policies.
Ensure all demand is captured reviewed and shared with respective stakeholders e.

Job Responsibilities To be able to understand business concepts.
To be able to coordinate and follow-up tasks among rest of the team.
To provide support and technical guidance to rest of reporting team.
Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof of concepts.
Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.
Develop data set processes for data modelling, mining, and production.
Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Collaborate with data architects, modellers and IT team members on change implementation.
Support operations team in analysing issues reported in live environment.
Coordinate and ensure the production of management information and any other ad-hoc analysis.
Be the first line support to other data warehouse users.
Define and ensure rules to access management information access and liaise with corporate security to ensure compliance.
Coordinate and support all demand management process for both reports and developments relating to the data warehouse.
Who you are Very good knowledge on database technologies and SQL; Oracle is preferred.
Experience on design, create and maintain reports and dashboards, Oracle BIEE preferred.
Basic Experience with ETl/ELT tools.
Experience in developing custom software components and analytics applications.
Must have technical / professional qualifications.
Hold a relevant degree on Computer Science, Business Informatics or related degrees.
RDBMS, SQL trainings or certifications.
Cloud trainings or certifications related to business intelligence or data in general.
Excellent knowledge of English (speaking and writing).
Experience with Big Data Technologies or Cloud is a plus.
