Breeder Squash Submitted by María del Mar … on Tue, How does your job as Breeder Squash at Rijk Zwaan?You will be part of our Squash breeding team based in Spain in the station Bellavista, in El Ejido.
The main goal is to develop squash varieties for many different market segments worldwide in close contact with the market specialists that are present in different parts of the world.
As Breeder Squash you will be working on new traits, innovation concepts, disease resistances and fruit quality traits.
In addition, you are involved in·Coordination of crop related processes.
seed logistic, crossing, MAS, phenotyping and other administrative tasks.·Improving processes·Implementing last technology developments of the company·Designing and evaluating variety trials around the world in our stations and with clients·Taking part in strategical discussions about the breeding program What is your added value?You are a real teamplayer.
