BUSINESS ANALYST

At Digital55 we continue to expand our team. On this occasion, we are looking for a Business Analyst with a high level of English to join the project of one of our clients in the construction sector.Your roleWorking for a Business-to-Business (B2B) application that is targeting the very undigitized construction sector Becoming a domain expert in the sections of the construction business the application you are working for is coveringDeriving common solutions that work for all our different construction company customers around the world, while avoiding tailormade solutions for specific customersResponsible for detailed business conceptualizations that are reflecting the business and are ready for development Primary point of contact for any business-related questions from the development team Your tasks Gain a detailed and deep understanding of the parts of the construction business that are to be covered with the developed software, though refinement sessions with people working in different construction companies around the globe. Retrieve the actual business need behind requirements, looking further than what the customer is initially telling you they need. Question requirements, think of impacts on other parts of the system, ensuring coherence. Extract the business objects, their relations, their lifecycle, flows they are going through, rules and the relevant actors from the gained knowledge.Document the extracted business items in business concepts that are readable and understandable for the development side.Include diagrams in your business concepts, such as business models, processes, status flows, etc. Iterate over your business concepts, to make sure they are consistent, coherent, sufficiently detailed, representing the real world and match within the broader business context for the different construction companies around the world.Make sure your business concepts are ready for development.Focus on the business flows themselves over the user interactions.Keep your business concepts up to date instead of creating development tasks.Prepare business scenarios that are covering all important casuistries, to help the correctness of the delivered functionalities.Test the application, to make sure it is working as expected from the business perspective.Align and work together with an international team of Product Lead, Architect, UI designer, other BAs and developers What you should bring Experience understanding requirements from different clients and deriving a common solution.Experience in working for a development company, in a B2B application where there is no old software being replaced, but business processes newly digitalized.Advanced level of English.Strong analytical skills.Adaptability of language depending on the audience.SQL knowledge is a plus.Experience with Draw.io is a plus.
