The Business Intelligence (BI) Domain Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the strategic direction of the organization's BI and data analytics architecture.
This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing BI solutions that align with the company’s business objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels.
The BI Domain Architect will work closely with stakeholders across IT, business units, and data governance teams to create robust, scalable, and innovative BI frameworks that support the organization’s analytical needs.

This is a Remote position.
What you will do.
Architectural Design and Strategy.
Design and implement comprehensive BI solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and robust.
Develop and maintain the overall BI architecture strategy, including data integration, data warehousing, data modeling, and reporting solutions.
Lead the selection and implementation of BI tools, technologies, and platforms that best suit the organization’s needs.
Define and enforce BI architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all BI projects.
Collaboration and Leadership.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical requirements and BI solutions.
Work closely with data governance, data management, and IT teams to ensure BI solutions are aligned with data governance policies and data quality standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers and analysts, ensuring best practices are followed in solution development and deployment.
Act as a key advisor to senior management on BI strategies, opportunities, and challenges.
Data Management and Integration.
Design and oversee the implementation of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions that integrate data from various sources.
Ensure that data architecture supports the storage, retrieval, and analysis of large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Develop and maintain data models, metadata, and data dictionaries that support BI and reporting needs.
Performance Optimization and Maintenance.
Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure they meet the organization’s performance, availability, and scalability requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI architecture, data integration, and reporting tools.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve BI architecture and solutions.
Documentation and Compliance Document BI architecture, including data flows, system designs, and integration points.
Ensure BI solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal data governance standards..
What you will bring.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
A master’s degree is preferred.
7+ years of experience in BI, data warehousing, and data architecture roles.
Proven experience in architecting and implementing BI solutions in large, complex environments.
Strong experience with BI tools (e.
., Tableau/Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Dataiku, Power BI, Looker).
Experience with cloud-based BI and data solutions (e.
., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Proficiency in SQL and other database querying languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership and project management skills with the ability to guide teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
