ABOUT USMinor Hotels is a global hospitality group operating over 540 hotels, resorts and residences in 56 countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe and the Americas.As a hotel owner, operator and investor, Minor Hotels fulfils the needs and desires of today’s global travellers through its diverse portfolio of eight hotel brands – Anantara, Avani, Elewana, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, Oaks and Tivoli.As part of Minor Hotels, the region of Minor Europe and the Americas is responsible for more than 350 properties in 30 countries and plans to grow across all segments, with a focus on its upper-upscale and luxury brands.JOB SUMMARYHe/she will be responsible for managing Commercial reports to deliver outstanding customer service and financial profitability and will also monitors the performance of the commercial department and the efficiency of the corporate sales, with focus of the Corporate Contracting Agreements & NH+ Program & Digital Sales.Will report to the VP Commercial & Marketing Analytics within the Business Intelligence TeamKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDeliver a pull of existing reports that support the business in the commercial area.Improve & develop the reports with new contents adapted to business requirements.Support the commercial area focused on Corporate Contracting Agreements & NH+ Program & Digital SalesCollaborate with the rest of the Business Intelligence team to develop and evolve the set of reports complementing one to each other.Develop and implement new procedures for managing quality of the reports of the area.Assure trustable information and set data validation procedures over the existing information.Support in the implantation of the Business Intelligence´s strategy of the companyQUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma (Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or similar)Having a master’s in data analytics, statistics or Big Data is a plusFluency in local language and knowledge of English highly valuableWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office, etc).SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGEGlad to manipulate data sets and building statistical modelsKnowledge querying databases with SQLDesirable: knowledge programming based on statistical computer languages: R or PythonDesirable: knowledge of using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.Desirable: knowledge of visualizing/presenting data with Power BI / TableauDesirable: knowledge of Google BigQuery or other Cloud Big Data Platforms (Azure,AWS)ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONLocation: Madrid (Santa Engracia, 120).At the moment, hybrid working model (3 days at office – 2 days at home).TEAM MEMBER BENEFITSAt Minor Hotels Europe & Americas we are committed to shaping exciting careers worldwide and cross-cultural experiences.
