FARO is based on a microservice architecture written in C# .NET. It provides process control (so called MissionScheduler) and connects to 3rd party systems in the environment of the processes (so called connectors). FARO itself does not initially contain any data, but is merely an architecture that enables the automation and control of processes. A process in FARO consists of individual tasks. These are divided into automated tasks and manual tasks. Automated tasks are solved autonomously within the system and can only be monitored by the users.
