Role Purpose/Business Unit.
To lead and oversee the team of Business Analysts within the Intelligent Automation chapter, driving the strategic implementation and optimization of automation solutions across the organization.
The Chapter Lead will ensure the delivery of high-quality automation projects that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include.
Promote a service mentality and develop strong relationships with Customer Operations, Finance, Consumer, Business and Technology areas  Support alignment of activities and objectives across the Vodacom Digital Process Re-Engineering team.
Manage creation of consistent and integrated improvement  Represent the Group Executive Head’s office in meetings and action decisions / deliverables as mandated from time to time Identify strategy growth opportunities in the Intelligent Automation space Enable RPA Citizen Development strategy in VSA and IB Markets  Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve customer experience, fast track revenue generation and Capex/ Opex spend reduction Perform risk assessments Quantify business benefits linked to digitisation.

Leadership and Management.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts focused on intelligent automation.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Manage team performance, conduct regular appraisals, and identify training needs.
2.
Project Oversight.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of automation projects.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
3.
Stakeholder Management.
Act as the primary point of contact for automation-related matters with key stakeholders, including senior management and business unit leaders.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Business Analysts and other departments.

Technical Expertise.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team on intelligent automation tools and technologies.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in intelligent automation and AI.
5.
Resource Allocation.
Manage resource allocation for projects to ensure optimal use of team capabilities.
Prioritize tasks and projects based on business needs and strategic goals.
6.
Reporting and Documentation.
Prepare and present regular reports on the progress and impact of automation initiatives to senior management.
Ensure thorough documentation of all automation processes and projects.
The ideal candidate for this role will have.
Honour’s Degree, preferably a MBA/ Masters  Degree in Commerce or Information Technology; Engineering degrees will be considered with demonstrated Lean Process Engineering experience.
7-10 years’ experience performing process improvements, with a strong preference for candidates with automation and consultancy industry experience.
Min 4 years of RPA hands on experience.
1-2 years people management experience will be advantageous  Experience in the Telco industry will be an added advantage Certification in Business Analysis (e.
., CBAP) and/or Intelligent Automation (e.
., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) is advantageous.
Proven experience in leading business analysis and automation projects, preferably within a large organization.
Skills Basic know how of infrastructure topologies.
In-depth knowledge of business process modelling with exposure to business processes modelling.
Ability to run design-thinking workshop for process re- engineering and process optimization.
Process development.
