With a head office located in Barcelona, our team operates across Europe, the US, and China. About the RoleWe are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our company, which operates in the dynamic and fast-growing beauty industry. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for leading and managing the company's financial and administrative functions, ensuring robust financial health, legal compliance, and IT infrastructure. The CFO will oversee the Finance, HR, Legal, and IT departments, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term vision and growth strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA)Provide strategic leadership and direction to the finance, HR, legal, and IT teams.Develop and implement effective management practices that promote accountability, high performance, and team engagement.Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Mentor and develop department heads and ensure succession planning.Financial Management and StrategyOversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure over multiple independent companies.Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process to align with the company’s strategic goals.Develop and implement robust financial systems, controls, and reporting mechanisms.Monitor and control cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and support growth initiatives.Advise the CEO and senior management team on financial performance, strategic decisions, and risk management.Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts, statutory accounts, and KPIs.Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.Human Resources Oversee the HR department in collaboration with the HR Manager to ensure the development and implementation of effective HR policies and practices.Provide guidance on talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and employee engagement strategies.Ensure the company adheres to all labor laws and regulations.Legal and ComplianceOversee legal and compliance matters, ensuring the company meets all regulatory and statutory requirements across multiple companies.Manage relationships with external legal advisors and ensure appropriate legal risk management.Implement policies to ensure compliance with industry standards, corporate governance, and ethical guidelines.Information Technology (IT)Oversee the IT department, ensuring the company’s technology infrastructure is robust, secure, and scalable.Support the implementation of technology solutions that enhance business efficiency and support growth.Ensure data security and privacy standards are met in compliance with regulatory requirements.Oversee the overall department budget.The Ideal Candidate:Experience: Proven experience as a CFO or Financial Director, ideally within a a company in the beauty or consumer goods industry.Commercial Acumen: Strong business acumen with an understanding of the beauty industry and market dynamics.Leadership Skills: Outstanding leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Proactive, decisive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage high levels of pressure and complexity.IT Proficiency: Experience with financial software and technology solutions; understanding of IT infrastructure and security requirements.Compliance and Legal Knowledge: Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks.Our Ideal CandidateBachelor's degree in ADE, Engineering or Economics. Master's Degree will be valued.Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance leadership role.Fluent, professional English (additional language, Spanish is a plus)Experience working with international teams and managing finances in a multi-center business. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and strategic planning skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
