Spencer Rigby have partnered with a leading Life Science device manufacturer to identify the companies first Global Chief Information Security Officer. This is a unique opportunity to build out the end to end worldwide security strategy, standards and operations. Building on solid foundations, this senior leadership position is part of corporate evolution, taking an established security structure to the next level.Our client is a high growth, mid-size company with worldwide operations. You will lead evolution of a positive security culture, overseeing the development and implementation of security efforts for all company assets (from products/software to corporate assets).Inheriting a comprehensive team, you will need to be a strong communicator with experience building from the ground up. Cyber transformation will require a strategic leader that's comfortable in tactical execution. It's critical the cross functional teams are educated on strategic needs, meaning the role will have significant company wide visibility.If you are looking for a high impact leadership position with a directive focused on transformation, this role is for you.The Impact?Establishing the security policies to deliver life saving healthcare technologies to the world.What you need to succeed?Experience leading cybersecurity strategy in large, global organizations.Proven track record developing & implementing information security strategies & programsExperience in SMEs or High growth companies would be advantageousStrong knowledge of the healthcare industry, the relevant regulatory requirements & security frameworks.4+ years working directly for medical device or biotechnology manufacturing organizations. 5+ years' in a senior information security leadership position.Traits/CompetenciesStrategic thinkerChange agent - leading a company through its first significant Cybersecurity transformationResilient problem-solverMore specific details on the company, culture and existing Information Security infrastructure to be shared with qualified candidates.
