maybe this is your place!:) Your main mission as a Cook 1 is to prepare the batch of proteins, sauces, compound preparations and their previous production to offer in the hotel restaurants.
As Cook 1, What will your day-to-day work be like?.
-Comply with the registration regulations and security systems of the company, as well as with the established work regulations.
-Set up the equipment (light fires, ovens, etc.) and tools to carry out the work of the day.
-Remove the items from the general kitchen warehouse/refrigeration/freezing chambers and take them to your work area so that, together with cook B and the kitchen assistant, they arrange them in the appropriate way.
-Know all the dishes on the menu of the day and cover the breaks of the Head of Party.
-Collect raw or cooked goods, putting them in suitable containers in the corresponding place.
-Properly handle food according to hygiene and safety standards.
-Offer the "show cooking" service in the preparation of food to guests in the areas that are required in order to provide the customer with a personalized and distinctive service.
-Clean and ensure the proper use of your work equipment, with the aim of keeping it in optimal condition.
-Support the activities of the Kitchen department, in order to maintain performance levels and efficiency.
Requisitos Who is the ideal person for this position?.
Academic Qualification.
Associate Degree Experience.
1 year experience in specific position Knowledge.
-Hygiene and quality certifications.
-Occupational Risk Prevention – Occupational Safety -Superior technicians in Gastronomy.
-Kitchen supervision levels.
-Knowledge of Logistics, receipt of goods and storage of products -Division and knowledge of production and development areas in industrial kitchens -Respect hierarchical organization charts, development of functions and fulfillment of duty Cooking basics.
-Basic knowledge of tools and kitchenware -Basic kitchen terminology -Basic cuts (brunoise, julienne, mirepoix, fruit salad, veggies, slices and pen) -Basic cuts of beef, poultry, goats, fish and seafood -Knowledge of fruit and vegetable basket (identification) -Cooking methods (dry, wet and mixed) Se ofrece Our proposal for you.
