CORE COLLECTION ANALYST

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving our purchasing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement practices, market trends, and data analysis.How You Will Do It:Functional objectives:• Support & Analyze purchase of direct material ( Core collection ) for the production of the MEMESA recycling center. Meet all legal and environmental requirements according to the EU laws and OECD regulations.Main Tasks:• Identify the Open local market ( ES/FR/PT) opportunities based on historical relationships and new opportunities, develop the knowledge of each national market (identify main actors and influences), follow and communicate internally the price trend of each country and follow the spot market.• Create the SAP orders for the Buyers and keep the full procurement process under control and ensure proper internal controls.• Handle the orders and control the quantities shipped (scrap dealers data versus plant demand logistic, acid control, Bins/Bulk operations, and mavericks strategy, etc…) to support local procurement team.• Support MEMESA plant Planning according local purchasing strategy.• Develop Transport strategy (Cost / Suppliers selection) . Manage & negotiate Core collection transport .• Support local procurement team with E-Procurement system (SAP, Konzmann, Zycus and other tools ) • If needed due to team vacations, negotiation of prices and contracts in spot market environment.Managesupplier accounts: Data base management, legal compliancy , invoicing, etc…• Assist local LBU business legal compliancy. Meet all legal and environmental requirements according to the EU laws and OECD. Support regulations & transboundary movement of recoverable waste.What We Look For:• Required qualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial procurement department or other industrial sector.Strong knowledge of MS Office and experience with SAP.Spanish bilingual.Advanced English communication skills (C1).Other languages skills will be a plus.Your workplace will be either in Spain (Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area).• Preferred qualificationsSAP experience.Ability to work well under pressure.Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Excellent written and oral skills.Ability to work in a team enviroment with international stakeholders.High attention to detail and accuracy.Willingness to learn and improve.Who we areClarios is the global leader in advanced low-voltage battery technologies for mobility.
