CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

CycleØ, headquartered in London, was founded in 2022 to take immediate action to slow the pace of global warming by capturing methane emissions mainly from the agrifood industry. As an integrated biomethane supplier, we build, own, and operate small-scale distributed biomethane plants in Europe and beyond. Manufactured by our subsidiary, FNX, located in the Spanish Basque country, our modular plant designs are fully tested in-house, making for easy deployment at any production site.The role: As a Corporate Development Analyst you will be part of a high skilled multi-disciplinary team based in Barcelona, SpainWhat you will be doingDevelop financial models for the valuation and analysis of investments on internally developed and M&A projects.Conduct desktop research in the sector of renewable energy (biogas/biomethane), the relative regulations in European level to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships that could enhance CycleØ’s position in the sector.Work alongside the team to run end to end investment decisions. Including identification, structuring and negotiations of a range of commercial opportunities covering M&A, partnerships and JV’s.Partnering with local business units and corporate functions, and working closely with legal, accounting and tax expertsAssist and support post-acquisition integration by ensuring that cross-functional teams are all executing on their respective M&A integration plans.Preparing presentations for projects for internal and external uses.Other supporting activities at early expansion stage of CycleØ such us analyzing offtake opportunities, green certification audits, project permitting liaison.Your Talent and Knowledge (that are key for this role)Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; chartered accountancy, CFA or equivalent qualification an advantageProficient in using Microsoft Excel, with ideally some financial modeling experience and a strong appetite to develop skills in this areaProficient PowerPoint skills for internal and external presentationsPrevious exposure to energy sector is a plusFluent in English and ideally few other European languages, Spanish and Italian preferredAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.What we offer: We operate in a dynamic and challenging environment that promotes autonomy and innovation.We work together as a team, sharing ideas and opinions.
