Because why not do it all?What To ExpectGates Power Transmission Spain is situated in Balsareny, approximately 40 minutes away from Barcelona. With a rich history spanning over 30 years, our facility specializes in the production of belts, contributing to a yearly output of over 15 million belt units.Working full-time from Gates P.T. Spain, you will be hired as a Cost Analyst to support our Finance department during a paternity leave.Develop and maintain the company's standard costs, ensuring they are accurate and reflect operational realities.Regular updates to align with changes in production, materials, or market conditions.Evaluate production costs and identify any plant deviations from planned or standard metrics.Provide actionable insights to address variances.Key Responsibilities (on Top Of The Above)Gather accounting data from production activities and prepare detailed financial reports.Ensure the data is accurate and aligns with corporate reporting standards.Analyze financial and operational data to identify areas for cost optimization.Propose actionable strategies to reduce waste or improve efficiency.Prepare financial offers for customers, ensuring pricing reflects production costs, margins, and company goals.Oversee and control monthly stock checks, ensuring inventory levels are accurate and discrepancies are resolved.Analyze and document waste management reports, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.Track and analyze material usage, disposal activities, and reject notes.Provide ongoing updates to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.About YouEconomics, Business Administration (ADE), Engineering, or equivalent.Alternatively, a high school diploma with significant relevant experience.Desirable but not strictly required; entry-level candidates with the right skills will be considered.Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application in cost management.Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in reports and cost calculations.Problem-solving: Identifying and implementing solutions for cost savings and process improvements.Fluent in English, Spanish, and CatalanMicrosoft Excel: High proficiency; ability to handle complex data analysis, pivot tables, and financial modeling.Experience with SAP ERP software is a strong advantage.WHY GATES?Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
