CPPS ROTATION INTERN

Clinical Pharmacology and Safety Science s (CPSS).
CPSS is a global R&D department that has a breadth of capabilities and expertise in Drug Safety, Regulatory Safety, Pathology, Clinical Pharmacology, Quantitative Pharmacology, Bioanalytics, Imaging & AI and Project Management supporting these functions.
The function supports all AstraZeneca therapy areas from early to late - stage drug discovery ensuring the right dose in patients to achieve optimal efficacy with an adequate safety.
Training through practical experience.
The student will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with researchers in the clinical pharmacology and safety sciences organization and will be offered the possibility of a short rotation period across the area s present in Barcelona (Clinical pharmacology/pharmacometrics, Integrated Bioanalysis, Imaging & AI, Safety Sciences and Project Mana gement)   It is a great opportunity for the student to understand the activities conducted to support the development of medicines from pre-clinical to clinical areas to ensure optimal dose in patients with adequate safety (best therapeutic index).
After the rotation period and depending on student skills and preferences, the applicant will expand training in one or two previous rotated areas.
Requirements    University degree in Bioscience, Pharmac y, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and related fields   Motivated self-starter, eager to learn with g ood scientific understanding and critical thinking skills.
Good oral and written communication skills in E nglish   Computational and programming skills (Python, R, or similar) is a plus   AstraZeneca is a company that promotes equal opportunities.
