You will be part of the DevSecOps team, working closely with software developers and operations staff to integrate security into the design, development and deployment processes, promoting a culture of security awareness and best practices. This position is based in Madrid, with a hybrid work model.As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions for our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our systems and data.Main Responsibilities:Design and implement security controls for cloud-based infrastructure and applications, using industry best practices and standards.Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of our cloud environment, identifying and mitigating security risks.Implement the required tools and integrations that will enable the Monitoring and analysis of security events and alerts.Support on investigating and responding to security incidents and breaches.Collaborate with cloud developers to integrate security into the design, development and deployment processes, following best practices for Secure Software Development Life Cycle.Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats and technologies, and share knowledge and best practices with the team.Write technical documentation.If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following:Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.+3 years of previous and proven experience in cybersecurity, with focus on cloud-based environments and DevSecOps practicesGood written, reading and spoken english to communicate with our global team.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Proactive and self-taught learner of cloud services to keep updated with new features.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and related security services (e.g. Cloud Trail, GuardDuty, WAF, Inspector, Config).Experience with security platforms like Wazuh.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, or CloudFormation. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and ECS, and related security considerations.Knowledge of serverless computing (e.g. lambda, api-gateway), and related security considerations.Familiarity with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, OpenVAS, Kali LinuxAWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Security Speciality, Certified Ethical Hacker or Licensed Penetration Tester) are a plus.Experience with other S-SDLC related tools such as Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool, Sonar is a plus.What do we offer?We are a global company with a great international team of people who are always willing to help each other out.We offer a competitive salary aligned with experience.Hybrid work model, partially from home, partially from our office in Madrid.We care about your well-being.
